ASAE Annual is only a few days away, and if you’re anything like us, you’re frantically trying to get your schedule finalized. But before you cross the t’s and dot the i’s, make sure these three must-sees are on your list:

Opening Night Celebration

When: Saturday, August 8 from 7 – 10 p.m.

Where: The Hendry Ford Museum

You can’t go to ASAE Annual and not go to the Opening Night Celebration, especially when it’s being held at the Henry Ford Museum, one of America’s most treasured cultural attractions! The museum is home to several iconic artifacts, including the Rosa Parks bus, John F. Kennedy’s presidential limousine, Abraham Lincoln’s chair, the mighty Alleghany locomotive, and even the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. ASAE will be providing local food and libations, so come and join the party!

The Small Staff Shindig

When: Sunday, August 9 from 6 – 9 p.m.

Where: The Top of the Pontch

If you’re a small-staff association professional, the Small Staff Shindig is one event you don’t want to miss. On Sunday, August 9 at 6 p.m., MemberClicks will be hosting a Small Staff Shindig at the Top of the Pontch, located on the 25th floor of the Crowne Plaza. All small-staff association professionals, AMCs, and industry leaders are invited to attend, where they’ll enjoy food, drinks, and the best view of Detroit. Want to join the fun? Fill out the form on this page to RSVP for all the details!

The Classic

When: Monday, August 10 from 7 – 10 p.m.

Where: The Fox Theatre

Ah yes, The Classic. On this night, ASAE will be playing tribute to Detroit’s musical roots with a magical twist. Located at the Fox Theatre, The Classic will feature a special VIP performance by Cirque Dreams accompanied by electronic musician Jeremy Ellis. Then following that performance, we’ll all be dancing on the ceiling as Lionel Richie takes the stage! For details and ticket prices, click here.
