Back in 2015, we recommended the 7 best association blogs to check out as an association professional (including some of our favorites like Associations Now & Smooth the Path).

The last three years have brought a lot of other great resources to our community, so let’s take a look at eight additional association blogs you should be following to stay in the loop!

1. WebScribble
Primary Writer: Audra Hopkins
Why: WebScribble’s blog offers a great mix of frequently updated content to help any association professional stay on their game. With categories covering technology, membership, engagement, marketing, and recruiting, you can’t help but learn something helpful with each post!

2. Nonprofit Tech for Good
Primary Writer: Miscellaneous
Why: The blog at Nonprofit Tech for Good focuses specifically on social media and fundraising topics for nonprofits, which is a big pain point for a lot of associations and chambers professionals. For our data lovers, they also frequently post a lot of useful industry reports (with the required statistics to back them up).

3. Association Chat
Primary Writer: KiKi L’Italien
Why: While technically this pick isn’t a blog, Association Chat has become a staple in the association industry for keeping up with relevant industry news. These weekly chats are recorded and take place live every Tuesday at 2pm EST, often including industry guests covering hot topics that you won’t want to miss.

4. ePly
Primary Writer: Krissy Conant
Why: As ePly is an event registration product of MemberClicks, this blog provides a lot of helpful tips for mastering the basics behind successful event planning. With new posts once a week, you should be able to pick up a trick or two to help with your next event, big or small!

5. Association Brain Food Weekly
Primary Writer: Deirdre Reid
Why: Who doesn’t love a good roundup? Deidre Reid’s weekly coverage of free educational events and resources for the association community makes it a must to follow! Be sure to check in every Friday to see the big highlights from the previous week as well as the events you should check out for the following week.

6. SBI
Primary Writer: Miscellaneous
Why: While SBI’s blog doesn’t have a consistent posting schedule, the content they do highlight is always on point! We recommend subscribing to SBI’s newsletter to make sure you don’t miss when a new post goes live.

7. Association Trends
Primary Writer: Sami McPadden
Why: Association Trends does a great job of frequently posting a wide range of relevant blog topics for association professionals of any level. In addition, they also have a great resource page here full of guides you’d be sorry to miss!

8. MemberClicks
Primary Writers: Callie Walker & Colleen Bottorff
Why: Our team works hard to provide helpful content throughout the week to all nonprofit professionals, ranging from small-staff associations to large chamber of commerces. Don’t forget about our free resources page here that covers over 40 free content guides that you can download today!

As you expand your industry knowledge, you may want to considering reaching out and connecting with fellow industry professionals online to keep in the loop.
