When I came to MemberClicks 16 years ago, and especially when I became the company’s leader 8 years ago, my goal was to create a positive ripple effect. My vision has been to enable our clients to be happier by making their jobs simpler and their organizations more successful. Our clients have become more successful because they’ve used our software to grow and engage more members. Those members are more successful employees and businesses, which in turn add more value to their employers and customers, who in turn hire more employees, and so it goes. You get the idea. My entire team is proud of the value that our clients have created for millions of members and other constituents over many years. We’re also incredibly grateful for the honor that you have given us to support you in your missions. Therefore, I am incredibly excited to announce that my team and I now have the opportunity to create a much larger positive ripple effect in the not-for-profit industry. Effective today, MemberClicks has joined forces with Personify, a former competitor whom we have respected for a long time, as one company. Personify, like MemberClicks, has earned a reputation for best-in-class, easy-to-use solutions. MemberClicks is committed to bringing to Personify our continued industry-leading client service and support. We believe that the combination of modern, integrated, easy-to-use software combined with exceptional client support is what the not-for-profit industry needs most to succeed in their essential missions. As excited as I am about our future, I of course will miss this chapter in our company’s history– the relationships that we’ve built with our clients and among one another as a small company. You’ve supported us at least as much as we’ve supported you. Your missions have inspired me and hundreds of members of my team, many of whom have been with MemberClicks almost as long as I have. My commitment to you moving forward is simple: I will continue to stay true to my vision and our mission of creating a positive ripple effect among not-for-profit organizations like yours. I am not naive enough to believe this will all be easy. I also understand this will create a lot of questions moving forward. We are committed to answering your questions and ensuring that you feel as comfortable with this next season as I am. There is a famous poem by T.S. Elliot, The Four Quartets. In the poem Elliot writes: “What we call the beginning is often the end and to make an end is to make a beginning.” That is exactly what we are doing today. We are making a beginning together.
