We LOVE giving back, and this month, we were fortunate enough to be able to sponsor The Marfan Foundation’s 2016 Atlanta Walk for Victory.

The Marfan Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works to create a brighter future for everyone living with Marfan syndrome and related disorders. Marfan syndrome is a potentially life-threatening genetic disorder that affects the body’s connective tissue. People can live with the condition, but only if they are diagnosed and treated. Otherwise, they are at risk of an early death from a tear in their aorta, the large artery that takes blood away from the heart. Approximately 200,000 people in the U.S. have these conditions, but experts say that half of those affected are not diagnosed.

On Saturday, April 23, The Marfan Foundation hosted its 2016 Atlanta Walk for Victory. The walk helps raise awareness for Marfan syndrome and fund life-saving programs and services.
