Currently the only way to find out when a profile has been created is to use the last modified date or add a field to a form to capture when the form was submitted. Last modified date is not a good way of tracking how many profiles were added during a certain time period because that date might change if a user logs into the system and changes the profile.
This field will allow organizations to track their membership base better. Right now there is no easy way to determine how many members have been added per year/month/day etc.

I also would like this feature added to the profiles - but for a work-around I've added a field called "Today's Date" onto the membership application forms and made it required - I then linked that to the attribute "Date Added" on the profile - that takes care of new applications - but I am without a solution for event forms - can't do the same thing there because some who fill out the form have existing profiles - I only want this data added to new BC profiles that are created when the form is filled out -

Actually, within the reporting area, we do have the ability to run a report based on recently added profiles, but it would be great to see this extend to actually being displayed in the users profile, as well as to the advanced search area.

This report is nice, but it would be nice to have the Export feature export the records and not just the names and dates -
New member automatic welcome emails

I agree! We send out welcome emails to our new members and it is a chore to go back and manually select these people to send an email. We would like for the emails to be automated to newly added members.

GalinAZ - I agree this would be very useful. Today, after adding members I go in and add a note to their profile that they were added on that date but I can't do anything to access that note for data purposes.
